Jerde Quattlebaum – Board Member

Jerde Quattlebaum is a retired US Air Force veteran and a career Intelligence Professional with 25 years of experience in operations, intelligence, research and acquisitions. While on active duty, he worked within a variety of military and community organizations focused on mentorship and professional development. Jerde has experience with organizing unit-level volunteer opportunities with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and the Special Olympics. In the local Colorado Springs community, Jerde has served on the Banning Lewis Community Board of Directors and a City Council committee responsible for redistricting in preparation for the 2025 city election. Jerde holds a master’s degree in strategic leadership and is passionate about personal growth and mentorship. Through education, career, and personal activities and achievements, he excels at communication and team dynamics.

Jerde values the relationship between teachers and their administration. He also recognizes the relationship between students and teachers as well as the relationship between teachers and parents. The BLA Board of Directors is the glue that holds each of them together. Parents are great advocates for their child/student, but this board is an advocate and mouthpiece for each and every one of them.
