Jordan Voltz

Mrs. Jordan Voltz, Elementary Principal

A lifelong Colorado Springs resident, Mrs. Jordan Voltz has over 17 years of experience in local K-12 education. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and psychology, a master’s degree in counseling and human services, and both special service provider and principal licensure through the Colorado Department of Education. She prides herself on a flexible and open-minded approach to every situation, keeping the best educational interest of the child at her focus. Noting that it doesn’t matter how many years of experience you have, in this big, beautiful world of education, you are guaranteed to learn something new every day, regardless of if you are a student, or a staff member.

Jordan has proudly called Banning Lewis Academy home since 2017. She began her journey as a stallion as the middle school counselor at Banning Lewis Prep during its inaugural year, 2017. Then made the move down to the Ranch in 2018. There, she welcomed the opportunities to serve as school counselor and then assistant principal before stepping into the role of principal to start the 2022–2023 school year.

At the heart of her leadership is a deep belief in the power of a strong community and a whole-child approach to education. She is committed to partnering with families, supporting teachers, and fostering an inclusive and rigorous academic environment where every student is known, valued, and empowered with the skills, confidence, and character to maximize the potential of their preferred path in life.

When she’s not at school or out in the community cheering on the stallions, you’ll likely find her enjoying Colorado’s natural beauty or soaking up the joy of a baseball game with her husband, daughter, and son.
