As a PTO member, you stand alongside a network of BLA parents, a community of thought-partners in the planning and achieving our annual goals for Banning Lewis Academy. Together we strive to establish a variety of events and opportunities that cultivate the development of academic excellence, we value our members feedback and ideas — and here’s how:
• We have committees that narrow their focus on events, fundraising, and supportive opportunities.
• We provided an end of month newsletter capturing previous engagements and upcoming opportunities, plus weekly updates by way of BLA Admin Messages.
• Lastly, our members are our first outreach for parent support, volunteer opportunities etc.

Our PTO exists to foster a positive working relationship among students, parents, staff, and the community. We coordinate educational and fun materials, experiences, and events to support student academic excellence and well-being. Each year we fundraise for items not budgeted in the school’s general budget.
