As a PTO member, you stand alongside a network of BLA parents, a community of thought-partners in the planning and achieving our annual goals for Banning Lewis Academy. Together we strive to establish a variety of events and opportunities that cultivate the development of academic excellence, we value our members feedback and ideas — and here’s how:
• We have committees that narrow their focus on events, fundraising, and supportive opportunities.
• We provide weekly updates in the BLA Newsletter capturing previous engagements and upcoming opportunities to support our teacher/staff and students.
• Lastly, our members are our first outreach for parent support, volunteer opportunities etc.

The Banning Lewis Academy PTO exists to foster a positive working relationship among students, parents, school personnel and the community by providing a variety of educational and fun experiences and the development of academic excellence. PTO will help propel school pride within the student, parent, and teacher community. Each year we are responsible for fundraising for items/equipment that doesn’t fit within the school budget for that year. We gladly organize fun events for the students and teachers throughout the school year.
