Update from Banning Lewis Prep:
Our BLPA Wellness Team is very excited to share some positive points from the 2019-2020 school year! With support from district and state programs we have been able to purchase equipment that has greatly improved the overall wellness of the Banning Lewis Prep community. For example, we have been able to incorporate TRX suspension systems, weighted slam balls, and resistance bands into our workout facilities. These equipment additions have provided us opportunities to differentiate workouts for our students and staff, contributing to higher levels of fitness and improved overall health and wellness in our community! Thank you to our awesome District 49 Wellness leaders! We were able to positively impact the health and wellness of our school this year and we are excited to continue doing so into the future!
Update from Banning Lewis Ranch:
Academy was able to purchase 150 pedometers with grant money provided by the D49 Health and Wellness program. The Stallions participating in a “step count” challenge for the month of Jan. Fifth grade won the challenge! In addition, the Health and Wellness team purchased Inspirational posters for the bathrooms to encourage students to make positive decisions throughout the day. Overall, the Stallions had a great Spring semester and grew both physically and with character development.

Dear Parents & Guardians,
Following the Federal Government’s extension of social distancing guidelines, Governor Polis extended the closure of all Colorado schools through Thursday, April 30th. The action was taken to continue slowing the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). For this reason, our school remains closed and our target date to re-open campus is Friday, May 1st.
Your child’s continued learning is important to us, and we thank you for your patience as we have transitioned to e-Learning as quickly as possible. By now, students should be transitioned to e-Learning safely at home using the resources below. Our teachers are also working from home to support and encourage students and parents during this time.
As educators, we miss seeing our students every day and are concerned for their well-being during this confusing time. Most importantly, we care about their safety and therefore support the government orders and recommendations that have been made to slow the spread of this disease in our community. We also salute you, as parents and caretakers, for the extra time, resources, and protection that you are giving your children during this time.
In Your Service,
Mrs. Molnar, Mr. Dahlman & Dr. Wiggins
